Teddy Bear Mohammed Gets Teacher Arrested

Gillian Gibbons, 54, from Liverpool was on suspicion of insulting Islam’s prophet. The 54 year old teacher made a class of seven year olds to choose the name of a bear for a project. She didn’t know she would end up been detained.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: “We can confirm a British national was arrested by police in Sudan yesterday.
Mrs Gibbons said that the only reason the bear was called Mohammed was many of the children are called that name so it was very popular in the school. Is this a result of an increase in racism or just another thing that was politically incorrect.
