Nintendo Wii’s Super Mario Galaxy vs GameCube’s Sunshine
November 26, 2007 | Filed under Game Video & Trailers, Gaming, Nintendo Wii

This video below shows you a comparison of Super Mario Galaxy on the Nintendo Wii and Sunshine on the GameCube, it is really funny that the wii gets compared with an old gen console but what’s even funnier is how the Wii still kicks the PS3 and Xbox 360 butts.
I am starting to use my PS3 a lot more now, although the Wii still gets used (just not as much). So maybe the PS3 will overtake the Wii in the coming year.
Thanks to the wii-mote, Galaxy is the much better game in my opinion, but on graphics they are very similar.

You SERIOUSLY need some glasses. I have not played either game, yet I could tell the difference immediately. Bad troll, BAD. Now lay down. LAY DOWN. Good boy.
even on this poor comparison video i can see galaxy looks a lot better, but this video pulls both games down to a similar resolution (Galaxy has much more detail) and certainly doesn’t give many of the better views from Galaxy…. In technical terms Super Mario Galaxy exceeds Sunshine by a mile, even if due to the nature of Mario his character isn’t vastly different (what exactly could be done to make him look better? put pimples on his face???).
The levels in terms of lighting effects and texture effects are considerably better than Sunshine’s immensely bright and flat colours.
Yeah, the graphics are similar just like Halo 3’s graphics are similar to Halo 1
In fact after watching again i can say the only thing this video is accurately comparing is sound, and how absolutely incredible it is for Galaxy in comparison.
Hmmm….
I want to go back and play Mario Sunshine again!
It looks great too…
If only I could drag myself away from Galaxy !
I love nintendo gamecube but does not have enough games like ps2
galaxy is so much more fun then sunshine, but the graphics are not much different however the water effects and animation and detail has been improved.!
who’s with me?
