Lauren Ambrose Is Spike Jonze’s Latest Wild Thing

It has been reported than Lauren Ambrose has signed on to the cast of Spike Jonze’s new movie Where Wild Things Are. The film follows the story of a mischievous young boy who creates a fantasy kingdom which is populated by giant creatures who believe he is their king.

Lauren Ambrose will be voicing KW, one of the movies creatures. The role of KW was originally voiced by Michelle Williams, but the filmmakers decided her voice just wasn’t right.

The film will use an amalgamation of live-action, puppeteer and computer animation and has a scheduled release date for October 2008.
