Babyshambles Guitarist Patrick Walden Quits

It has been reported that Babyshambles guitarist Patrick Walden quit their U.K tour on Thursday.

Babyshambles was due to perform with Patrick on seven scheduled dates, but Patrick refused to appear with his former band just hours before he was due to go on stage at the gig in Manchester.

But guitarist Mick Whitnall, who replaced Walden after he quit the band in 2005, insists there was ‘no animosity’ between the pair. Mick said that “He came up to Manchester on the tourbus with us, he was going to come out and play on a couple of songs, but there were complications and he had to go home. Personally, I just found it all a bit strange. It was a very amicable decision; he just didn’t want to do it in the end.
