3mm Thick Seiko Epson E-Ink display

We wrote about the Electronic Paper Watch from E Ink and Seiko back in December 2005, but now in 2007 we have news on a new product the “Seiko Epson E-Ink display”.

With a screen resolution of 1600 x 1200 and diagonal screen size of 6.7-inches it seems normally, until you hear that the Seiko Epson E-Ink display is only 3mm thick.

This device best fits the role of an electronic book reader which can show at least 1400 pages on one full charge of the battery, but I can think of many uses for a 3mm thick screen (including phones).
