Portuguese detectives end hunt for missing Madeleine McCann
By: Peter Chubb | November 22, 2007
Sky New has reported that Portuguese detectives are to end their hunt for missing child Madeleine McCann; just one month after the elite team of senior officers took charge of the investigation. The reason that detectives might end the hunt for the missing child is because they are no nearer to finding the child.
Although there have been a few developments and many sightings, it seems as if police are no closer to finding the missing girl. If this reports are true then this could be a major setback for Madeleine McCann’s parents Gerry and Kate, and it looks as they will have to face the prospect that they will not find their girl.

How Long Can Kate and Gerry hunt for missing Madeleine McCann?

They stopped looking months ago. A complete disgrace.
They most likely want to stop looking for her because they are so inept. I have never seen such a screwed up investigation with evidence ruined and stupid theories spewed out to the world to read. They call the private detectives working for the McCanns “small fry” when that name actually belongs to the Portuguese police!
I totally agree with you. Poor little girl – she deserves so much better.
The Portuguese sc called police have done nothing to try and find this poor little girl from day one the leaks to the press by them has been a disgrace, so much for there laws of secrecy what a farce, ass for the press in that little backward country well what more do you have to say.
anybody who wants to go on holiday to that place should think again, because the blame being targeted at the Mc Canns is to cover up there failings and save there tourist industry.
… and where is Madeleine?
