Official: Steve McClaren axed as England Manager after Euro defeat
Well it is now official England football manager Steve McClaren has been axed by the Football Association, after England’s humiliating Euro defeat. This news is a result of an emergency meeting that the FA held this morning, according to The Sun after the game which saw England lose 3-2 to Croatia, McClaren said that he will not quit.

Do you think that this is the right decision by the FA to sack Steve McClaren, and if so who do you think that the New England Manager should be?

One that that I do know, it does not matter what manager you put in charge of the team it just seems as if the players themselves needs to take some of the blame.

I’m not really a football fanatic but after lastnight’s performance, I feel imbarrased to be english. the team got a second chance and even then still couldn’t hold it together. Good players are always injured during important games - We are just so unlucky and yes i agree Sack the manager and a few of these waste of money player who stay up most nights snorting coke and shagging pro’s !!!

  5. Mel says:

He failed and his is gone. But let’s don’t the same mistake again.

I would like to see a lady run the mens team. Just look at the fight our ladys put up I ran a ladys team in Sawbridgeworth but this was for charity but we still played our hearts out and never gave up. Men should have their money cut if they play poorly this would then make sure they fight all the time they are on the pitch. Sometimes it pays to do something like that to get the performance. If worker’s do not perform then they have their bonuses cut and sometimes their pay. Give a lady the job???? I am glad he has gone we need a man not a mouse.
