Flixster Tops 1 Billion Movie Ratings In Just Two Years

Any Facebook addicts will know about Flixster, the social media movie rating application. Well it seems that after just two years from launching the service it has gained over one billion movie ratings!

Flixster’s CEO Joe Greenstein has said, “1,000,000,000 is a great milestone but you should see what a mess our office is with all those post-it notes. We could really use some computer people to help us figure out a better system for the next couple billion.”

Now, I absolutely love films and often check Flixster to see what movie people are looking forward to the most. Flixster currently gets 3 million movie ratings per day so, if you’re looking for current moviegoer trends, it’d be worth checking it out.
