England crashes out of Euro 2008: Who is to blame?

England had an humiliating defeat last night as they lost to Croatia 3-2 and have crashed out of Euro 2008, The FA board are to hold an emergency meeting this morning at 8.30am to discuss what Steve McClaren’s future will be.

I do not know much about football so lease correct me if I am wrong, but England have not been on form for quite a while now, so how come it is always the manager who has to take the blame, how come those overpaid Pre-Madonna’s who we call football players never have to take the blame.
