Elmo USA Corp. Visual Presenters recall: fluorescent top lights overheat causing fire hazard

Elmo USA Corp. in cooperation with the .S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall of their Visual Presenters. The reason for the recall is that the fluorescent top lights will overheat which is a fire hazard.
Over 54’000 products are affected by the recall, the faulty fluorescent top lights have not been installed properly which is why the visual presenters overheat. The recall includes ELMO, Epson, Doar Communications, Vtel and Tandberg brand names, the faulty visual presenters were made between December 1993 and December 2003.
