Buy-Rite Designs Inc. Recall Sparkle City Charm Bracelets

Yet again, we see another product recalled due to high levels of lead. This time, around 43,000 units of the Sparkle City Charm Bracelets and Tack Pin Sets have been recalled as there are concerns that if ingested, the high levels of lead in the jewellery will have adverse health effects.

The charm bracelets in question have silver-coloured star and butterfly charms and clear and pink beads hanging from a silver coloured chain. The Tack pins are silver with butterflies or stars with clear and pink beads.

The product was sold nationwide in Big Lots stores from August 2005 through to August of this year. Consumers are advised to take jewelry away from children and return it to the store where it was purchased from.
