Boppy Pillows Slipcovers Recalled: Risk of Lead Exposure and Choking Hazard
The Boppy Company, of Golden, Colo. Along with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall of Boppy Pillows Slipcovers. Consumers are asked to stop using the product immediately.

The reason for the recall are two things, firstly the zipper pull on the slipcovers can break which is a choking hazard for young children. The second issue is that the zipper contains an excessive amount of lead paint; this violates the federal lead paint standard.

The recall is for the velvet and boa slipcovers, these are used with the Boppy® Bare Naked nursing and support pillow. For more information on this please call +18006382772 or visit www.cpsc.gov
