Roost Due recall Birch Bark Wrapped Candles: Due to Fire Hazard
Roost Due are working with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to issue a voluntary recall of their Birch Bark Wrapped Candles, this is due to fire hazard. Consumers are asked to please stop using the candles and to seek advice from them.

It is thought that 1,200 of the Birch Bark Wrapped Candles are affected by the recall as some of the candles have been known to ignite when the candle burns down, as you would expect this causes a serious fire hazard.

Roost Due have received three reports that the birch bark wrapping on the side of the candle caught alight, but thankfully there have not been any reports of injuries.
