Q1 release of 3G UMTS Apple iPhone: Vodafone gets exclusive

November 20, 2007 | Filed under Cell Phones, iPhone News

3G UMTS Apple iPhone
This 3G iPhone rumor is a bit more solid than most as Morse.IT have claimed to have spoken to high-level sources that are confirming that Apple and Vodafone have signed an exclusive deal.

Other rumors are calling for a 3G release of the iPhone before May and MacWorld say that it will happen after the Christmas holidays to avoid impacting sales of the existing iPhone.

Although a Vodafone iPhone sold in Germany and the UK, should be violation of those long-term exclusive deals (unless those deals were to the “iPhone,” not the “iPhone 3G”).

Well that sounds logical. Apple and Vodafone make nice and sign an exclusive deal. And the next day, Vodafone files a restraining order to preclude iPhone sales via T-Mobile.

The start of a beautiful friendship! Not!

This Apple/Vodafone rumored partnership makes no sense! Morse.IT is feeding you a bad story.
