NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX and GTS: laptop GPUs rolled out
As Alienware announce their new laptops it is great timing that NVIDIA announce that they are rolling out their new GPUs for laptops, the GeForce 8800M GTX and GTS. NVIDIA state that this is the fastest Notebook GPU in the world. Both models are identical although the GTX has 96 stream processors while the GTS has 64.

NVIDIA states that we should expect full DirectX 10 support along with PureVideo HD engine, which gives you all your HD decoding needs. Both graphics cards support up to 512MB of dedicated memory, and that is why Alienware decided to use these GPUs in their new gaming laptops.
