The Sanyo LVT-WD40 Fully Waterproof Portable Television

Now, you may not think you need a waterproof television but if you think about it, it could come in handy if you’re watching it while doing the washing up or, if you want to safely watch your favourite soap while in the bath (get it?).

The Sanyo LVT-WD40 is being marketed for kitchen and bathroom use and comes with standard features such as a 4-inch LCD with a 480 x 272 resolution and around 6 hours of battery life. Although the player can be used anywhere - that includes at the bottom of the bathtub - the media capabilities are rather limited, you’ll not get anything beyond the standard 1seg TV access.

The Sanyo LVT-WD40 is going on sale on the 21st in Japan for around 50,000 yen.
