Japanese TV Cell Phone: technological overkill or not

This is a Japanese TV Cell Phone which although I am not sure why we would want a TV like this in a cell phone…it is pretty cool.

Some might call a TV cell phone “technological overkill”, but for me I could see this becoming very useful when combined with a digital signal.

I know that some iPhone users might laugh at this phone and would just say something like “you could watch your normal everyday TV… its much bigger”.

We have no idea when or if there will be an American or European release, but watch the video below.
