Hands on with Sony PS3’s THE EYE OF JUDGMENT

Well gamers its here THE EYE OF JUDGMENT for Sony PS3, I went out this weekend to Game with a mate who purchased the eye of judgment with the PlayStation Eye camera, so as a keen gamer we rushed off back to his and opened the box it all come in, at this point nothing made any sense to either of us, there was a cam stand a pack of cards and a cloth game mat.

So as many gamers do we just plugged it all in and tried to play, god didn’t we look stupid, we really didn’t have a clue, so after about 10 minutes of trying and failing we decided to watch the game tutorial.
After about 20 minutes of the tutorial we got some idea of game play, and than decided to put our heads together and try and play the computer! Although we didn’t stand a chance it all became more clear to the both of us and became a challenge.

The cards you get with the game consist of: Venoan Assassin’s, Fortresses, spell cards and action cards, the assassin is one of many kinds of warriors that will battle you opponent on the mat, and as for the others I mentioned well they are self explanatory.
On the cards are a few things you need to note: health, attack and direction of attack. On to the game then, you both get a deck of 30 cards out of which you take a hand of 5; you will then declare battle by pressing the stat button.
Player 1 will then place one relevant card on the mat which will then show on the battle field, player 2 will take the same action, and at this point both cards will battle resulting in a lost health. The winner will be the first person to occupy 5 squares on the game mat.

Although we have not gone into too much detail on playing the game, trust me when I say it will amaze you, especially if you owned the old PS2 Eye Toy camera.

In my personal opinion the game is a cross of many different things such as: lord of the rings, Pokemon, chess, top trumps and risk, which are all good games that are brought together in a superb combination of skill and determination.

Points to remember about the “Eye of Judgement”
Doesnt specify at purchase only playable for 1 player unless you buy another deck. The Cord makes you sit directly in front of the TV. The stand falls over super easy which ruins games and makes you set even closer to your TV. The Game does not work well in Fluoresant light, almost not all all. Fun game but mine is just sitting there until I buy a new set of cards, an extension cable, so I dont have to sit 2 feet from my 62 inch TV. I can only play during the day because at night it doesnt work with Light bulbs on.
@ rober what a moaning bitch!!! get over it and pull out ur ps3 im sure you’ve got some length in ur hdmi and power cables what a lazy moaning bitch i bet ur ubber huge too lol.
Robber me and a mate have played of an evening and the game works fine, maybe you should should fix a dimmer. i do agree about the lead and you are close to the TV though!! and they need to tel you more about the cards.
