Ron Paul made mark as the most radical and unorthodox

The AFP has said that Ron Paul “has made his mark as the most radical and unorthodox” which might be one reason why the presidential candidates see him as such a threat.
Although every presidential candidate will have different political views and ones they hope will be related with the most of the U.S. population to get them to the job of president, it is very true that Ron Paul is radical (and that’s what’s needed…CHANGE).
Do you agree with their view that the Republican Ron Paul will “almost certainly not be the next president of the United States”?

Radical and unorthodox? Absolutely…because the status quo must be changed. Every great President was radical and unorthodox. American citizens are obviously dissatisfied with the direction the U.S. is going, and it is time to change course. Do Americans really want another four years of the same garbage that has been endured since Bush took office?
It is clear that the presidency is no longer about who is most qualified, but is a consequence of who has the most money to advertise (a la Romney). That is, unless a candidate is backed by a particular media company with a hidden agenda(a la Giuliani by Fox news, evidenced in the recent Judith Regan scandal).
No, not me. I’d much rather choose a straight shooting candidate who never used government funds to put his kids through school or to fund his health insurance (a la Ron Paul).
I am not psychic, but I can tell you that Giuliani will get the republican nod, and Clinton will get the democratic nod. Hillary Clinton was almost 100% guaranteed to win when media mogul Rupert Murdoch threw a fundraiser for her, inaugurating her campaign. And the President is concerned about other countries having democratic elections. Laughable.
If Ron Paul is certainly not going to be the next President, then this country will certainly circle the toilet for another four years. Swish…
I can say in the cowboy country of the pacific north west his support is FAR more than the media in the US reports, people stand on the corner with signs and drivers honk from their cars.
His signs are everywhere, and they are clean an professional looking, not those silly revolution signs you see on TV.
These were Bush crazy people in 2003-2004 etc… They have been had and they know it by the mainstream republicans. A small portion defected to Kerry in 2004 but not enough to make a difference.
Ron Paul is a storm Karl Rove could not even stop, I wonder what he really thinks of this? Not what he’ll say in some interview or something.
The other Presidential candidates do not see Ron Paul as a threat. In their ignorance, the other candidates regard Ron Paul as little more than a curiousity. It is the people who front the other candidates who recognize the real power behind the Ron Paul capaign.
He is very likely to win because he is going to spam the vote by coordinating flash mobs of voters. Except this time they won’t be able to cancel the results because Ron Paul won.
In one word, NO! Ron Paul will win the Presidency in 2008!
Frankly, once again the American (Free?)Zionist Press has misrepresented the facts. Dr. Paul, as indicated by all of his speeches, debates and publications, simply promotes a return to our federalist constitutional government, the rule of common law and the supreme rights of individuals as such in their respective state residents. I suspect from the nationalist/socialist perspective, (promoted by AFP and the rest of the Zionist-owned corporate media) that global Zionism is seeking to obtain, that’s radical. The poster TheOneLaw seems to understand that as do most of those who take the time to look into the issue. The real story is that the global criminal money powers are finally being exposed on a large scale.
Since when is the Constitution of the USA “most radical and unorthodox” ? If Ron Paul can shake the status quo, more power to him! Free yourself from the herd and truly start to independently THINK, DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU HEAR AND SEE ON the TV NEWS! Research the BILL OF RIGHTS, the entire constitution, and how our political system works “FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE!
GO RON PAUL!!!
Honestly, the media picks the candidates for the people. Ron Paul is a good man but there are too many billionaires counting on hillary mcrudy. A man who threatens the richest of rich and an entire global empire probably just won’t make it to the oval office.
Not if we the people assert our independence. My whole life I’ve wanted to do something that would really make a difference, so I could “save the world”. Young dreams die hard, and at 46 I still seem to feel that way. I’m a volunteer for the Ron Paul campaign because he’s the first politician in 28 years that I actually believe. What he believes, he believes sincerely and though we don’t agree on everything I DO believe his guidance will help avoid the Armageddon we seem to be careening towards.
Barry B, while you might be right, its not in the American spirit to give up.
cheers,
