The Video Game

We’ve known for a long time that it’s unlikely that we’ll be blessed with a third Ghostbusters three film and gradually, we’ve come to terms with it. However, we won’t be entirely ghostbusters-free in 2008. According to reports, Vivendi plans to release Ghostbusters the video game!

Before you go thinking that it will be absolutely horrible, you shouldn’t. It’s been said that all four original cast members, that’s Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis, have signed on to give their voice and likeness to the game. Cool.

Ghostbusters screenwriters Aykroyd and Ramis are also signed on to write the game’s story, which is expected to take place during a ghoul invasion of New York City in the early 1990’s.

Terminal Reality will be making the Ghostbusters game for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 while Red Fly Studios will be making a version for PS2, Wii and DS.
