World’s Most Exclusive Hotel Has Just One Room
By: Lucy | November 15, 2007
The picture above shows the world’s most exclusive hotel, the Everland. The hotel was designed by Swiss artist duo Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann and has just one room. Yes, you heard right, the hotel has only one room and is perched 30 meters above ground level boasting a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower.
In October, Everland moved from the roof of the Leipzig Gallery of Contemporary Art to the roof of the Paris ‘Palais de Tokyo’ where it is open to guests for an overnight stay and museum visit until the end of 2008.
The hotel, has one room containing the bathroom, a king-sized bed and a lounge area.
Designer Sabina Lang said,
It’s absurd to have a one-room hotel and it’s never going to be a success as a business plan. We just like to play around with the idea of exclusivity and luxury.
The cost of this luxury is around $488.44 a night during the week and $651.79 at weekends. For more info click here.
