$1.8 Million Diamond-Studded Christmas Tree

We all know that Christmas is an expensive time, but no one really expects the Christmas tree to be the most expensive purchase? Well, it would be if you bought this diamond-covered Christmas Tree being offered by Takashimaya department store.

The Christmas tree, decorated with 400 diamonds, has an asking price for a cool $1.8 million (US). The tree isn’t really a tree at all but a small tower of preserved roses with a teddy bear. It’s just 40 centimetres tall and has around 100 carats of diamonds from Southern Africa and Australia.

that is so ugly… why would anyone want that?
The bear is so cheesey. It looks like it came from a cran machine.
I’d rather have the cash wrapped up in a diamond tennis bracelet.
