The Gold RC1: The World’s Most Expensive Remote Control

Lantic Systems are known for their high end integrated entertainment systems. They’ve now designed a pure gold remote control! It is likely to be the world’s most expensive remote control as it cost in excess of $55,000.

The remote control, called Gold RC1, was first shown at the METS 2007 Exhibition. It can offer the user control over TV, video, DVD, music, CD, internet, E-mail, CCTV, burglary alarm, lights, curtains, air-conditioning and surveillance of navigation systems! I should hope so at that price!

Amazingly, there have already been orders for the gold remote control, and they are due to start shipping in December.
