iPod Dismantled And Set In Acrylic In The Name Of Art - And It Still Works!

How’s this for a piece of modern art. Artist Billy Chasen has taken one of the worlds best-loved gadgets, the iPod, and exploded it before setting it in acrylic. Ok, so it wasn’t actually exploded, but the artwork was inspired by “exploded diagrams of objects where you see every piece of the thing”.

The iPod wasn’t exploded because it still had to be fully functional. So instead it was wripped apart and made to look like it had exploded. Amazingly is still works so mission accomplished!

Is this really art or is it a man with a lot of time on his hands?
