Cool But Costly

How cool are these lights? The World View lighting system from PID are definitely unique. Their lights are helium balloons which contain 35 ultra-strong diodes. The floating height can be adjusted to suit your mood.

One of the helium light models comes with a cord, while the limited edition version is powered by rechargeable batteries. The battery-powered model will give you around 42 hours of light, with a recharge taking 8 hours.

With a novel lighting solution like this one, you can’t expect it to come cheap. The Helium Balloon Lights cost $1,000 each. That’s without the cost of refilling the helium every 2-3 weeks!
