David Gray shot to fame in 1998 with his fantastic album White Ladder. This was Gray’s fourth album - he had released his debut in 1993, though it didn’t gain any recognition.
Since White Ladder, David Gray as gone from strength to strength and his vast collection of tracks has spawned a new Greatest hits album.
The Greatest Hits is filled with some of his best songs dating back to his first album A Century Ends through to his 2005 album Life in Slow Motion. The album includes two new songs, ‘You’re the World to Me’ and ‘Destroyer’.
In a recent interview, David described his Greatest Hits album as “a bag of happy shit.”

David Gray’s Greatest Hits album is a reminder of just how great this British songwriter is. If you’ve never bought a single one of his albums, or have the whole set you’ll find yourself wanting this album. Gray’s songs are an amalgamation of all genres of music making it appealing to the masses.
