It’s autumn so it’s time for the fall Xbox 360 dashboard update. The update will be put in place just in time for Christmas and will allow Xbox 360 users to download classic Xbox games and movies on demand.
The update has been confirmed by Microsoft and is scheduled for December 4. Some of the titles that will be available include Halo, Fable, Crash Bandicoot, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Psychonauts via Xbox Live Marketplace. All for around 1200 Microsoft points per title.
As time goes by, Microsoft hopes to make as many original Xbox titles available to customers from their back catalog of games.
Microsoft also plan a movie-on-demand service which will be similar to the US Video Marketplace for Europe. The movie-on-demand service will let users download movies to their Xbox 360 hard drive. Once downloaded, they will have 14 days to watch the movie. As soon as the user begins watching the content, they will have 14 days to finish it before it is deleted from their hard drive.
