Ron Paul Edition: new Apple iPod $50 donated to campaign
Do you remember a few years back when Apple produced the U2 version of the iPod, it has been reported that there is going to be a new Ron Paul Edition if you are one of his fans then this will appeal to you. The U2 iPod came in a special color and had one of their albums stored on the MP3 player, so many believe that a Ron Paul edition iPod will come with some of his great speeches.

The iPod is based on Apple’s Touch and will have an 8GB hard drive, although there is a 16GB version planned and will come with more tracks on it. This is where is get really funny, Ron Paul will be reading speeches like Federalist Papers and Declaration of Independence it gets funnier as Ron will also sing his version of Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.

The price for base model of iPod will be more expensive than the normal model, expect to pay $399 and $499 for the 16GB Touch. It is believed that $50 will be donated to the Ron Paul campaign.

OK for those of you who are starting to believe this, the story came from thespoof.com, need I say more. But if this was true would you pay the extra $50 to go to the Ron Paul campaign?

Dr. Paul is unquestionably a Republican frontrunner…

I’ll take a crate of these ipods, perhaps some of these neocons and liberals might learn something from listening to some of his great speeches.

I sure as hell would pay $500 to go to the campaign — but I can’t because i’ve hit my limit… no thanks to you JOHN MCCAIN, and GEORGE SOROS.

Aww, I’m so disappointed! Yes, i would definitely buy a Ron Paul iPod, I wish I did have him reading Federalist Papers, or the Constitution.

With the amount of quality audio and video speeches Dr Paul has given I’m sure there wouldn’t be a lack of content to put on the RP ipod. If this were true an all.

Ummm I think you may have reposted an article from The Spoof which is a satire publication.
Even though I would love to see an Apple Ipod or I phone I doubt one is in the works any time soon.

Having him read the Federalist papers, the Declaration, and the Constitution might be worth it… but he could probably leave off his singing from my I-pod, thank you.

    Of course.

Pretty upset that you would write such a column only to tell me at the end that it was made up.

I already have over 700 Ron Paul related videos on my iPod. I only have 60 G, so I had to remove my Monk episodes. I am not joking.

Having already read the Spoof article seeing it reproduced here made me think you knew something I didn’t. Damn. If Apple matched me 10% I’d pay as much as they asked so long as the difference went to my only hope of self-ownership.

    To Liberty!

Why not just donate the whole $399 to the campaign instead?

    :-)

Clue: the $50 would be an illegal contribution, because if it were built into the price, it would be collected by and then contributed by a corporation. Corporations can’t contribute to federal campaigns.

    Fun idea though.
