Las Vegas Strip New Frontier casino-hotel imploded

The New Frontier casino-hotel which was on the Las Vegas Strip has now imploded thanks to the help of 1,000 pounds of explosives. wpri.com reports that bystanders and reporters were at the site to watch this once great hotel fall to the ground, when I say fall I mean implode with a huge explosion.

The New Frontier casino-hotel has had to make way for a new multibillion-dollar resort which forms part of the Plaza brand, which is due to open its doors by 2011. Just before the hotel imploded people gathered to watch a massive fireworks display.
