There are some rumors going around that Google are to acquire Sprint Nextel for Mobile WiMax, however there is no proof of this as it is all speculation at this time. The report or rumor has come from Rich Tehrani and reckons that Google are planning this so that they can expand their mobile business.
There could be some truth in this as the hottest news last week was that Google getting in on the Open Handset Alliance’s Android platform. In the report from blog.tmcnet.com, they say that Sprint is already on good terms with Google which is a great start in business.
Do you think that this deal will go ahead, or is it just another one of those speculations?

I think Google buying Sprint is the only way Sprint will keep from going into a spiraling nose dive crash that is happening right now…
First thing they would need to do is fire all the management (including in operations) at Sprint to keep them from screwing things up…Sprint treated their customers and employees (discrimination and lay offs)like crap…then they wonder why everything is going down hill…
It is doubtful that Google would buy Sprint Nextel, I don’t think they want to get their hands dirty…but you never know what could happen…I hope they clean house there at Sprint…
If they do I hope they turn things
