Dell 3008WFP: 30-inch monitor with DisplayPort

Ok so we know that Samsung were the first to use the DisplayPort on a flat panel monitor, but Dell can at least say that they are the second as the company announces that the Dell 3008WFP is to use the new DisplayPort. The 30-inch flat panel monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and has some vastly improved inputs.

Some of the other inputs include two DVI, VGA, S-Video, component video, composite and a HDMI. The theinquirer.net has no more details as to any other improvements on the Dell 3008WFP; there are still no details as to when Dell well ship these monitors and how much they will cost.
