Who Is The STIG Off Of BBCs Top Gear?

Every week I watch BBC Top Gear and every week I want to know who is the Stig? It’s a question many people have tried to answer but have failed. Who do you think it could be? One thing is for sure, he’s a better driver than I am! But only just.

In Top Gear, we never see Stig out of his white racing suit and helmet. He doesn’t speak nor ever show any sign of emotion. The closest we get to finding out The Stigs identity is when one of the presenters introduces him

So who do you think the Stig is?

I don’t think we’ll ever know, but he’s got to be either a current or ex racing driver!

  2. David says:

The original ‘black suit’ stig was Perry McCarthy.

Current stig is usually Ben Collins…he’s been seen without the helment in a few episodes eg he drove the Merc that the guy parachuted into the back off.

On special occasions there is a different guy usually at the bequest of the owners eg the Renault F1 car.
