Transformers 2 Ready For Pre-Production

It has been reported that Transformers 2 is ready to go into pre-production, location scouting and advance special effects work. We’ve only just been given Transformers! Are we ready for a sequel?

Michael Bay has hopes to begin shooting on the film in June 2008. But, if the strike continues for a few months, Bay might have to delay principal photography.

In the meantime, Michael Bay has appealed to Transformers Fanboys to not believe all they read on the internet forums. Apparently, Bay claims DreamWorks will leak misinformation so real links don’t happen! Talking to Rotten Tomatoes, Bay said,

“One thing I do know is I know how to screw them up more. “We’re going to leak a lot of false information all over the place. I now know their game. They’re going to get a lot of script treatments that they think are going to be the script. They will never see the script. We’ve got scripts and treatments written up that we’re going to leak. No one’s going to know. There’s one out that’s fake right now. There are going to be many others.”

The fake treatment bay is talking about is the 13-page treatment dated October 2nd which was leaked last month.
