The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause Released On DVD and Blu-Ray

Tim Allen dons the legendary red suit once again in the third instalment of The Santa Clause movie, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. In the film, we see Santa Claus (aka Scott Calvin) juggle a full house of family while the mischievous Jack Frost tries to take over Santa Claus’s holiday.

‘Santa and his wife, Carol (Mrs. Claus) are expecting the birth of Baby Claus and to keep his wife relaxed, he invites his in-laws (Ann-Margret & Alan Arkin) to the North Pole, which has been disguised as a Toy Factory in Canada. Along for the adventure are Scott’s extended family, son Charlie (Eric Lloyd), ex-wife Laura Miller (Wendy Crewson), her husband, Neil Miller (Judge Reinghold) and their daughter, Lucy (Liliana Mumy) who together with head elf Curtis (Spencer Breslin), foil Jack Frost’s crafty scheme to control the North Pole.’

I must admit I’m a sucker for a Christmas movie. I will watch any and all up until December 25th to fill me with festive cheer. I loved The Santa Clause 1 and 2 so am looking forward to popping this in the DVD player, grabbing some cookies and milk, sitting on the sofa with my son and (unwilling) fiancé and watching the film.

The DVD is released in the UK today (November 12, 2007) and in the US on November 20, 2007. The film comes with some cool bonus features too. These are:
