This is the story of Davie and how he ends up at 13 being left alone in the world. His mother is wayward to say the least, when she comes home one night drunk (again), his father has had enough and leaves, there is a failing out between his mother and his grandfather and he throws Davie’s mother out.

Davie being loyal leaves with his mother, but tragedy strikes and his mother dies, everything is too much for Davie and he then decides that he will leave his home town of Blackburn.

When Davie finally finds friendship and a place to stay, his life is once again turned upside down by tragedy. Will he return to Blackburn or move on once again?

I enjoyed this book so much so that I read two third of it yesterday and only finished it about 1 ‘o’ clock this morning. It’s a good read and it is available from amazon
