Sony’s GPS Units at FCC: NV-U83T and NV-U73T
By: Daniel Chubb | November 12, 2007
It looks like some new Sony GPS units are coming to the U.S. soon as the NV-U83T and NV-U73T have hit the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
There are not many new specs in the FCC filing, but you can read details on what we mostly all new already (view the FCC filing here).
The 83T includes an accelerometer which lets the device keep guiding even when the GPS signal fades, it sports Bluetooth and a 4.8-inch screen. The U73T is the lesser of the two and features a smaller 4.3-inch display.
We currently do not know what price these GPS units will go for or when they will be available.
