Samsung 64GB SSD: is this fast storage solution worth $1000

The guys over at Engadget have decided to pit the Samsung 64GB SSD against a Seagate Momentus 5400RPM SATA, which is a 2.5-inch laptop drive just to see how they both compare with each other. As you would expect Samsung’s 64GB SSD wiped the floor with the standard HDD, but would you pay about $1000 for this new kind of technology.
