rssHugger project from Collin LaHay: avoiding Technorati’s problems

You may know of Collin LaHay from his creation WordHugger, but now he has launched a new project called rssHugger which aims to avoid problems that Technorati and other blog networks have had.
rssHugger gives bloggers a network for promotional purposes, blogs will have a profile page for their RSS feed and a description of the site.
The problems they aim to avoid include spam blogs, we all know there are many of these on Technorati and they aim to stop this by having a registration fee. They charge you $20 for 10 years to use the service and if you write about rssHugger on your blog they will half that cost.
I personally love the way this new service is thinking quality from the start, and many of us remember when BlogRush had a quality control problem and removed thousands of blogs at once.
Technorati has got a lot better with the tweaks they have been making, but because rssHugger is starting like this from the beginning I would imagine it will take a lot longer for them to build up their network.
Visit rssHugger and let us know what you think.
