O2 and Apple iPhone causes Vodafone UK’s customer service to go down
Vodafone UK’s customer service has been down for the whole weekend as a result of defecting customers who wish to head to O2, just so they can get their hands on the new Apple iPhone. It seems that Vodafone customers have been phoning the customer service line and are now just greeted with an automated voice.

Is this just a way of Vodafone trying to ignore and make it harder for their customers to leave their network and head of to pastures new, that is the young and fresh O2 network. We have to feel sorry for the rep who works in the cancelation department as they will have to ask the same question to thousands of defecting customers.

Bit of O2 / Apple propaganda going on here since this story simply isn’t true.

What a load of ribbish - a 2G out of date phone on a network fully 18 months behind Vodafone’s - you really should know better. Device intuitive yes - device on 2G big no no - it takes ages to download a song and Voda offer less branded but better Nokia
