Darren Aronofsky hasn’t had much luck with his lead men. First of all, Brad Pitt walked away from The Fountan after he ‘lost faith in the project’. Now, Nicolas Cage has left Aronosky’s upcoming drama The Wrestler for unknown reasons.

Mickey Rourke.

So, Rourke’s name may not have such a big pull as Cage’s but you’ve gotta love him! Plus, he’s a lot harder than Nicolas Cage - he took time out from acting to become a boxer. I think this is the best thing for the film.
