Amy Winehouse’s Husband Blake Denied Bail

Amy Winehouse looked on from the public gallery as her husband was remanded in custody charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Blake Fielder-Civil appeared at Thames Magistrates Court after being arrested at the couple’s Camden home in north London on Thursday.

Blake will be remanded in custody until November 23 when he is due before a judge at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

The conspiracy charge relates to a case due at Snaresbrook on Monday in which Blake and Michael Brown, face charges at of causing grievous bodily harm during an incident on June 20 this year.

Ms Winehouse’s mother-in-law, Georgette Civil, has been quoted in the Sun as saying: “Amy’s totally distraught. She kept saying to me, ‘I love him. He’s done nothing wrong Amy has told me she’ll stand by Blake whatever happens.”
