NXP and T3G have got cozy with Samsung to gloat about the unveiling of a new “Worlds First” with the SGH-T578H, the device includes a software-defined modem which provides data transfer rates of 2.8Mbps.
By the time of the Beijing Olympics, phone users in China should be able to stream content of the event via Release 5 (HSDPA) of the TD-SCDMA standard.
China has already seen ten major cities with TD-SCDMA networks complete, although we have no word on when this phone will be available.
