This is mad but saying that great for Christmas.
It has been reported that Tesco has been advertising a deal to beat them all on its website, offering an Xbox 360 hardware bundle for the knock-down price of just £33.24. Tesco.com deal featured an Xbox 360 console, a wireless control pad and games Forza Motorsport 2 and Viva Pinata. How great does that sound but one minute it had to be too good to be true.
The offer as now been removed and is said that it was an administrative error.
Tesco has refused to comment on whether they will honour those who ordered the bundle at the advertised price, but a spokesman from Trading Standards said that “If a consumer orders goods, the trader accepts the order and the price is agreed, but later the trader says the price has gone up, the consumer should only have to pay the price given at the time the order was placed.”
Its said that in the Tesco terms and conditions it states that “If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned
What do you make of this and have you been affected by this?
Do you think that Tesco should honour the sales?

i ordered 2 and they have taken money from my account where do i stand???????
I ordered four of these XBOX at the price you give minutes before the website stoped working. I really hope they have to fulfill the order..
Of course not. This clearly a mistake. Thousands of people will have no doubt tried to take advantage of this. If Tescos were to honour all these wrongly priced XBoxes then they’d have to pass the cost on the the consumer elsewhere, or make further demands on their produce suppliers. Wake up people.
The whole of my office spotted this and we bought about 9 of them between us.
According to Tescos this was actually a controller that was being advertised and so it’ll be interesting to see if, on Monday, we’ll have a heap of xboxs or a heap of controllers
