Locked U.S Only: PS3’s Uncharted Drake’s Fortune demo

We are hearing that the Sony PS3’s Uncharted Drake’s Fortune demo seems to be locked to just the U.S with N4G reporting that Playstation 3’s are asking users to insert a disc or freezing with a black screen.
Can anyone confirm this is happening to them? It may just be a bug with PAL systems which could see a fix soon.
It may be a problem with just Pal systems, share a comment if you know more.

It happened to me…was very excited to try it out last night and it said insert gamedisc…it also happened to another guy i know here in Iceland…boring
I was able to play the demo just fine on my 60GB Ps3
same happened to me, it asked for a disc and froze up, and i live in england
I bought uncharted the other day, and I experienced sound jitters when the music changes from a normal section, to the combat section. I’ve also experienced the black screen of doom, once at the second last chapter. I know that it can’t be my PS3 because all my other games work 100%, so it must be the PAL version of uncharted. Did anyone else experience these problems?
