Lawn Mowers Recall by American Honda Motor due to fire hazard

It has been reported that around 22,000 units of the Honda HRX217KHXA and HRX217KHMA Lawn Mowers have been recalled due to a manufacturing defect. Apparently, a crack can appear in the fuel tank, causing a fuel link which ultimately could lead to a fire or explosion.

American Honda Motor Corp. have claimed that only serial numbers from 1400001 through 1459714 are included in the recall. To check the serial number on your model, it can be found printed on a label located on the upper rear of the deck.

Honda urge customers to stop using the recalled lawn mowers immediately and contact any Honda Lawn and Garden dealer for a fuel tank replacement.
