Google Dream Phone: could it really be the leaked HTC Omni?

HTC Omni
After Forbes revealed that the Google Dream phone was a prototype handset that they demo-ed the Android mobile operating system on to potential partners, we are left with a question.

Sky News put an idea forward from just a “grain of plausibility”; they ask could the Dream phone really be the leaked HTC Omni?

Although this is based on no facts, the rumored HTC model shares features of the other unit, these include a similar form factor, a full QWERTY keyboard that swivels out, a rectangular touchscreen and being 3 by 5-inches in size.

The Omni looks good, but how close could this idea be to the truth?
