Vodafone says Yes to Nokia’s Ovi suite of multimedia apps

Ovi services will be pre-installed on Nokia handsets released on Vodafone in 2008; the catch to this will be that Vodafone will have its own competing services installed as well.
Apparently this will be good for us phone users as the applications are meant to compliment one another, but I guess we will have to wait and see if that is really true after feedback.
This is good news for Nokia’s Ovi suite, but the reason other carriers have not jumped on board is because the cash stream of on-device entertainment revenue is normally reserved for carriers themselves.
