JJ Abrams’ Star Trek Gets New Captain Pike

It’s known that James T. Kirk is not the Captain of JJ Abrams’ Enterprise. So, with Josh Lucas signing up to Edgar Allen Poe’s inspired psychological thriller Tell-Tale, who will play Captain Christopher Pike in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek?
Well, it’s none other that Canadian actor Bruce Greenwood!
Greenwood has appeared in over 40 films in the last three decades. He has appeared in Hollywood Homicide, I Robot, Racing Stripes, Capote, Eight Below, The Core, I’m Not There, déjà vu and the upcoming National Treasure sequel.
Captain Pike was first played by Jeffrey Hunter and was Captain in the original Star Trek pilot. Pike was severely injured while rescuing
