The last five years have seen a dramatic increase in demand for home cinemas, quality audio systems and other multimedia installations. Traditionally the domain of men, there is growing demand from women for home technology with flair. With this in mind, Ferguson Hill created a speaker that would truly appeal to both genders. The FH007 is made for the discerning male or female user looking for a product that complements their lifestyle and décor – high performance and cutting edge design.
Former aeronautical design engineer and Ferguson Hill founder Tim Hill says, “The FH007 was born out of my passion for music and experience in engineering and design. I wanted to create speakers that were beautiful and like nothing else, whilst also sounding magnificent. The project has gone through many stages of development and I’m deeply proud of the end result.”
The powerful five piece system consists of a pair of horn loudspeakers and two spherical bass units together with an integrated full range 16w amplifier. Often, loudspeakers in the home can look bulky or awkward; the inspired transparent design of the FH007 creates the illusion of space so prevents rooms and desktops from looking cluttered. The speakers are, in themselves, a style feature.
The classic horn form means that the speakers are directional, so the sound you hear appears to actually come from the room you are in, making recorded music both intimate and alive. The FH007 is therefore perfect for listening to your favourite jazz music, film soundtrack or radio chat show.
