When you talk about Hybrid cars, the first thing that springs to mind isn’t a sexy-looking sports car is it? Well that’s about to change as Fisker, who once designed Aston Martins, reveals his four-door premium ‘Eco-Chic’, plug-in hybrid sports sedan. The car runs on gas or diesel engines and can offer as many as 620 miles between refuelling!
The plug-in charge will offer a respectable 50 miles, with the hybrid drive squeezing another 100 miles per gallon out of the fossil fuels. The car comes with an in-built battery pack that delivers improved driving dynamics, good balance and safety.
This particular eco-friendly sports sedan will set you back around $80,000 which is nothing compared to what you owe the earth right?
The car will be hitting garages in the late 2009.
What do you make of this car? Would you buy one?

No, I would wait for the Chevy VOLT or the Chinese BYD plug-in, mostly because I can’t afford to spend $80,000 on a car, and the insurannce premiums that go with it. If I were going to spend $80K, I would buy the Fisker
and never even consider the crappy tesla all-electric, with its inability to reliably get to a destination 100 miles away and back home again,
and its 4 hour recharge time, and it can’t be bypassed.
I have got to get me one of this! these cars are the evidences of great ingenuity inspired by great knowledge in auto history. having a hard time comparing, why not have it All!?
